We built thru. to help founders get more value out of the relationships they've already built. These terms exist to keep things clear and fair for everyone — not to bury you in fine print. If anything here ever feels unclear, just reach out and we'll explain it in plain English.
By using the Platform, you agree to these terms. If you're using thru. on behalf of a company, you're agreeing on their behalf too. You need to be at least 16 years old to use the Platform.
thru. helps you understand and activate your investor network. You can upload your cap table, and we'll help you enrich those records, surface relevant opportunities, and identify who in your network can open doors for your business. Think of us as the intelligence layer on top of relationships you already have.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for what happens in your account. If you ever think something looks off, let us know immediately. We'll do everything we can to help.
Anything you upload to thru. — your cap table, investor records, notes — belongs to you. Full stop. We use it only to provide the service you asked for. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't use it to build profiles for anyone else.
By uploading data, you're confirming that you have the right to share it and that doing so doesn't violate any obligations you have to others.
We ask that you use thru. for its intended purpose — activating your investor network in a legitimate, thoughtful way. Please don't attempt to misuse the platform, access data that isn't yours, reverse-engineer our systems, or use any information you find here to spam or harass people. Basically: be a good actor, and we'll have no issues.
Some features use AI and third-party enrichment to surface information about your investors. We think this is genuinely useful — but treat these insights as a helpful starting point, not gospel. We can't guarantee every enriched data point is 100% accurate, so verify anything important before acting on it.
We work hard to keep thru. running smoothly, but we can't promise 100% uptime. Occasionally we'll need to perform maintenance or deal with unexpected issues. We'll always try to minimize disruption and give you a heads-up when we can.
The thru. platform, its design, and its features are ours. Your data and content are yours. Neither of us gets to use the other's without permission.
We genuinely care about making thru. valuable and safe for you. That said, we can't be held responsible for indirect losses — like missed deals or revenue — that arise from using the Platform. We always recommend verifying enriched information independently before making important decisions based on it.
If we ever make significant changes, we'll let you know before they take effect — via email or a notice on the Platform. Your continued use after that means you're okay with the update.
